Hello everyone, Coach Matt Gauld with the Aldergrove Ironmen.
I’m excited to begin a new chapter of Ironmen hockey and sincere gratitude to Ben Crotenko for giving me the opportunity to step in and build a new direction for our hockey club.
We are committed to building a first-class junior hockey program centered around player development, accountability, professionalism, and team culture. Our objective is to provide an environment where players can develop both on and off the ice while preparing for the next level of hockey and life beyond the game.
There will be opportunities to earn a spot with the Ironmen this season, and we are looking for players who are committed to their development, willing to compete every day, and prepared to contribute to a team-first culture built on work ethic, discipline, and character.
This offseason, we are excited to offer our Summer Development Skates and July ID Camp at the Langley Sportsplex. These events provide prospective and returning players with an opportunity to experience the pace, structure, and expectations of our program while being evaluated by our coaching staff ahead of the upcoming season.
Our staff is dedicated to developing complete athletes through structured practices, competitive environments, and strong mentorship. We believe in helping players grow not only as hockey players, but also as leaders, teammates, and individuals.
We are excited about the direction of our program and look forward to continuing to build a culture our players, families, and community can be proud of.
